Nevertheless, Anne carried the role very well and there are more praises than criticisms given to her. Anne is called the “Angelina Jolie” of the Philippines due to her lips that resembles that of Angelina. Anne also dreams of some future roles to be like that of Angelina.
Anne was once in featured in a controversy with Richard Gutierrez. The scandal was a video of the two kissing in a mode somewhat after doing something in bed. The cellphone video spread and Anne had nothing to do but to admit it was her.
But after that controversy, Anne moved on and made more projects and awards for her name.
